Floor and Roof

The EBS Floor and Roof Form Systems combine conventional construction methods with a pre-panelized stay-in-place concrete form. The panels are custom built off site for each project, shipped, set and poured with concrete on site. No field cuts or any type of adjustments are required. The panels come from the manufacturing plant already numbered ready to be installed.

EBS Structural Concrete Forms floor and roof systems consist of pre-panelized stay-in-place forms with concrete toping poured on site.

Our system offers different solutions to cover a wide range of building configurations with the advantage of reinforced concrete strength and the speed of the stay-in-place forms.

Another advantage is that the forms include a ceiling board as part of the system, ready to be finished.

The forms are custom built, up to 10’ (3m) wide by 30’ (9m) long. Larger forms are available upon request.

EBS SD series consist on a composite form made of steel deck and ceiling board with concrete topping poured on site. This is an ideal system for elevated floors with spans up to 14ft (4.30m).

One layer of rigid insulation can be added between the steel deck and the board ceiling giving a R-Value of R-12.

EBS ICR series combine high rate insulated forms with a monolithic cast-in-place concrete structure made of a thin slab with ribs. This profile increases the efficiency of the concrete utilization resulting on a lighter structure than conventional concrete slabs.

Thermal insulation is one of the most important advantages of EBS ICR roof systems. R-Value varies depending of the thickness of the panel to be used.  Values up to R-60 can be easily reached with this system.

Where required, utility chases are located through the form as per specifications.

Ceiling board is also part of the form ready to be finished as regular gypsum board.
